Salon 8 – 22/26 Drama

Salon 8 is a group project: 8 photographers take on 26 themes.

Every two weeks we will posts these images of the world as we perceive it, as we dream and taste it.

So here it is, the big final of this project.
With special thanks to: superjesse, not only did he help me with making this final shot, he helped me out a lot when I could not make it alone.
I also want to thank my daughter Maxime for participating and support more then a few times.
I had the idea for a while in my head, but the weather didn’t cooperate, so I had to improvise again.
The past year has been very intens, but brought me so much more then i hoped for.
I could not imagine this last year when I started.
I want to thank everyone for watching and supporting me all this time.
My special thanks are for my family and friends for helping me out and believing in me and the people I started to love here on Flickr the past year.

I hope you enjoyed it, at least I did.

because those who mind don’t matter,
and those who matter don’t mind.
When this project is over, I certainly won’t stop making selfies.
I really discovered a whole new world of photography.
I learned to see and use my body and face just like an instrument
I am still participating in Salon8.
And maybe more in the future.
Who knows what will happen.
For now I am preparing my final shot, and then I will be happy to take at least a few days off.
Take care of other things and not to worry about having instant inspiration for a shot every day.
Although I still have some ideas that need to be done some day.
It was me who put the pressure on every day, but still it felt like a burden sometimes.
I wouldn’t have made it without having your support every day, it inspired me and gave me a better spirit to go on.
I want to thank all of my visitors for that.
For now 1 day to go and then I will stop the masquerade
(I mean all the make-up, wigs and other funny props I used for this project)
for a while.
I have planned this toilet-wig for a few months now.
I have been saving every toilet roll since the idea popped up in my head.
We planned this afternoon to make Judge Bidet Toilette come alive with her awesom wig.
So we were getting pretty serious and then something went wrong with Judge Bidet Toilette.
And all that is left of her is this picture.
This photo has been replaced by the one with the one with in my eyes better processing.
