I got a lot of questions lately, if I will continue making selfies.
Or even start another 365.
I will continue making selfies, but not with the pressure of performing every day.
A lot of days I wasn’t totally happy about the result of the day.
Although I learned a totally different level of photography.
It streched my creativity to a maximum sometimes and it gave me a lot of tension and frustration.
The result of all that effort is a bunch of great shots and a lot of experience, great contacts and a project to remember.

But I really want to see some new faces in front of my camera.
So there will be more selfies in the future. I have a lot of ideas in my head, but I want more time to make them en enjoy the good feeling of a great shot a little bit longer than one day.

Fake On Black

Cosmetic surgery is like a trend that hasn’t reached his peak yet.
I am sure it will eventually.
On tv a lot of famous people try at least some botox.
I would cheer when people started to love a natural look again.
What good is a face without expression or wrinkle.
It is the lines on your face that tell the story of your life,
in my opinion that is what makes a face interesting.
I don’t like fake at all, no fake face, fake orgasm, fake smile or fake character can get my approval.
There is one exeption though …
The over the top fake, that fake is funny from my point of view.
So please, don’t ever take fake seriously, it will give you wrinkles.

Today we bought 2 tickets to Sicily next week.
This means my project will end later.
I want to make my last week special and I don’t want my holiday filled with frustration about having to make a selfie every day.
Maybe I will, but I do not want to feel the pressure.
I think it is a good decision because I really lack inspiration right now, and that is not how I want this project to end.
I am sure the famous Maffia island will bring me fresh ideas, beautiful landscapes , Italian sun and a last taste of summer.
And I wil have the time to photograph that beautiful country.
Now I have to run, we have to make reservations for a accomodation as well.
I will keep you all posted.
