  After 3 days of celebrating carnaval
  and wearing wigs and curlers.
  Today my hair looked exploded.
  My brain is fussy , and my voice sounds like a blues singer with a drinking problem.
  Or as my daughther pointed out: "mama you sound like a man today."

  Here in the south of Holland,
  there is a party going on called Carnaval.
  Not like the Carnaval in Rio or Venice,
  but the best way to celebrate is with locals and everybody dressed up like someone else.
  The village I live in, is a small village called Boxmeer.
  But we do have a big tradition: De Metworst.
